Sandblasting the car

At BP ART we understand that rust and corrosion can pose a serious problem not only for older vehicles but also often occur on relatively new cars. Prolonged exposure to weather conditions, contact with salt during winter months, pollution, or chemicals can significantly damage the body, bumpers, or chassis. These factors lead to corrosion, which not only diminishes the vehicle’s aesthetics but can also compromise its overall structural strength and safety.

For such issues, we offer an effective solution – car sandblasting (primarily for historic vehicles, but also for “ordinary” cars). This process is one of the most efficient methods to remove not only surface rust but also old coatings, paints, grease, and other impurities that accumulate on metal surfaces.

Car sandblasting

Whether it is complete sandblasting of the body, cleaning of bumpers, or preparing the chassis for a protective coating, at BP ART we guarantee precision, thoroughness, and a gentle approach to your vehicle. With our services, you extend the lifespan of your vehicle, enhance its appearance, and ensure long-term protection against further damage.

  • Rust removal: We thoroughly clean the surface of corrosion so that it is ready for further treatment.
  • Removal of old coatings: We quickly and efficiently remove old layers of paint and coatings.
  • Surface preparation: We create a smooth or slightly rough surface that improves the adhesion of new paint or coating.

Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

Will sandblasting damage sensitive parts of the car, such as headlights or plastic parts?

No, we use gentle abrasives during sandblasting that do not damage sensitive parts. Moreover, these parts are protected from contact with the abrasive material. We most commonly use copper shot and gentle abrasives with a grain size of 0.1 – 0.4 mm, which are ideal for cleaning the surface without causing damage.
